Recorder Techniques II
Students will be taught the skills needed to develop a strong music foundation. They will adhere to a curriculum that allows them to play recorder songs as they learn to identify and read music notation. A scaffolding approach will be used in order for students to fully comprehend the techniques associated with playing the recorder.
This class will be a fun way to introduce and provide your child with a greater sense of musicianship. The class is for 7 weeks, June 18 – July 30, and each session is 45 minutes. They will be assessed throughout the 7 weeks to ensure comprehension.
At the completion of the class, students will be able to independently play songs. The 7- week course is for beginners and is open to children age 8 and up. Music reading skills are not required for participation. All fees are due prior to the first class.
7- week session fee = $75
Maximum capacity is 20 students.
