With more than fifteen years of piano experience, Joshua Uhe is a senior at Moody Bible Institute pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree. He decided to pursue music vocationally while he was in high school after which he spent one year studying Music in Performance (piano) at Grand Valley State University under Dr. Giuseppe Lupis. He then transferred to Moody Bible Institute, where he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Worship degree, studying piano under Dr. Un-Young Whang.

Joshua’s performance experience includes: his high school band, a masterclass with Jeffrey and Karen Savage (“88 Squared”), Michigan’s high school Solo & Ensemble Festival (for which he received the highest possible award at both the District and State level), and several other occasions.

He is currently participating as a member and accompanist of the Moody Men’s Collegiate Choir, working as a student accompanist at Moody, and playing for church services at his local churches in Michigan and Chicago. Joshua has been teaching through Moody’s Community Music School since 2016, and he intends to continue teaching and pursue a Master’s in Piano Pedagogy after graduating.
