Mikaela Breitz began studying as a Children’s Music Ministry major at Moody Bible Institute in 2015. Her emphasis is in voice and she has been singing as long as she can remember.

Mikaela has been trained classically in voice since 2009, has sung many solo pieces, and in various choirs and A Capella groups. She is heavily involved in the Moody Chorale, a touring collegiate choir at Moody and is currently taking voice lessons from Dr. Desireé Hassler, who sings with the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Mikaela enjoys being involved in many different musical activities, especially when children are involved. She has led/directed both long and short-term children’s choirs/bands both in her hometown of NJ and in Chicago.

Mikaela seeks to use her gift for music and her love of children to help instill the love and beautiful craft of music in the hearts of the children she encounters.
